Thank you for turning to Comal County Habitat for Humanity to fulfill your Required Community Service Hours.
Please note: Community Service Restitution (CSR) Volunteers are only allowed to volunteer at our ReStore and must be at least 14 years of age.
We DO NOT accept anyone convicted of Theft or Violent Crimes. The courts will not accept Comal County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH) community service hours if Theft or Violent Crimes occurred.
Community Service Representative Requirements:
If this is your first time reporting for community service hours or returning for required service hours you must contact our Volunteer Coordinator. This is a requirement for all participants. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 830-625-4025, ext. 8231, volunteer@comalhabitat.org or 830-500-8489.
Additional Information:
All CSR volunteers must sign in and sign out using our electronic punch clock. To receive credit for service hours, your hours must be signed off by our designated staff.
Safety regulations require all volunteers to comply with our Dress Code policy. Volunteers who do not meet Dress Code requirements will not be allowed to volunteer.
All ReStore Volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes.
Shorts are acceptable, but please have shorts just above the knee.
No leggings or ripped pants.
No dangling jewelry
Shirts must be free of any inappropriate logos including alcohol, tobacco, drug paraphernalia, suggestive sayings or ads.
CSR Volunteers are required to sign up through our Civic Champs Events Calendar.
This calendar provides specific instructions and guidelines for volunteering. Please review the instructions to determine whether you are eligible to volunteer.
CSR Volunteers are required to complete the online safety training prior to arriving at the ReStore.
