The primary goal of Comal County Habitat for Humanity is to build stronger and healthier communities in Comal County. We do this by partnering with families and individuals to build and repair safe, decent, affordable homes.
Habitat for Humanity homes are sold to eligible partner families at no profit, with supportive financing on an affordable loan. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, we build (and repair) simple, decent homes with the help of our partner homeowners.
Becoming a Homebuyer
We believe that everyone should have a safe, affordable place to call home.
To carry out our vision, we partner with individuals and families from application, through construction, to when the keys are handed over.
By working with us from beginning to end, we can help prospective individuals prepare for the various responsibilities of homeownership, including learning about personal finances, mortgages, maintenance and upkeep of homes, and much more.
Repair Program
Comal County Habitat for Humanity strives to bring strength, stability and self-reliance to our community through an array of housing solutions, which includes a range of repairs to existing owner-occupied residences. Comal County Habitat provides affordable home repairs on homes owned and occupied by people of limited income. Our repair program is not an emergency program.
